The Alwan association was established with the aim of helping everyone, regardless of skin color, religion, or sex, just like the colors of the rainbow (alwan means ‘colors’ in Arabic).

That’s exactly what we’ve been doing from day one.

We run a vast and comprehensive support program throughout the year, maintaining beneficiaries’ dignity and focusing on breaking the poverty cycle to achieve economic and social development.

We distribute food, personal hygiene and cleaning products, medicines, diapers, hundreds of heaters and blankets in wintertime, and more.

All our activities are conducted in a spirit of generosity for the benefit of others. The association is entirely volunteer-run with no paid staff.

With your support we will manage to fight poverty in any population by providing financial assistance as well as means to effectively deal with poverty in the future.
